Getting started
week.monster is a weekly planner built around who you are being, not just what you need to do.
You start with a clean slate: no sample tasks, no streaks to delete.
Your first week
- Name your identities. In Identity Studio, create the few identities that matter right now: Founder, Writer, Athlete, Parent. Give each one a color and an icon. Mark the ones you can't skip as Core.
- Add facets (optional). If an identity has distinct workstreams, give them facets, like Marathon Prep and Strength under Athlete.
- Capture. Open Quick Notes and type or dictate whatever is in your head. Don't sort it yet.
- Shape. Schedule each note to an identity and a day. For anything vague, use Unpack to break it into 2 to 6 concrete steps.
- Execute. Start a focus sprint from the task itself, or open The Café and pick one there.
- Reflect. Open Pulse. Carry unfinished work into next week, or release it.
Choose how much of your week to see
- Easy (default): your top 5 identities.
- Let's Go: your top 6.
- Full Plate: every active identity.
Start with Easy. You don't need to manage your whole life every week.
One habit worth learning
Everywhere in week.monster, editing works the same way: double-click to edit, Enter to save, Escape to cancel. That applies to tasks, identities, facets and tags.
