Identity Studio

Identity Studio is where you design who you are being. It's separate from your week on purpose, so long-term design doesn't get tangled up with daily chores.

Lifecycle​

Every identity is in one of four states:

  • Core: non-negotiable, active every week.
  • In Play: scheduled and part of the current rotation.
  • Re-entry: being brought back gently after time away.
  • Resting: paused. Its data stays safe in the Library and Archive.

Configure an identity​

  • Name, icon and color. Pick any color with the color picker, and choose from a range of icons.
  • General context. Your playbook for this identity: values, principles, how you work. Up to 8,000 characters. Unpack reads it.
  • Templates. Recurring actions and assets that are suggested when you schedule the identity.
  • Connect links. Bookmarks to the Notion docs, repos, Figma files or sheets that belong to it.

Facets​

A facet is a workstream inside an identity. Each facet can have its own context, its own Unpack step count (2 to 6), and its own Connect links.

Rename a facet by double-clicking it, in Studio or in your week. History and future weeks update with it, and nothing tagged breaks.
